About the TeamVirtus from FIS is a leading provider of alternative investment services and technology solutions, specializing in front, middle, and back‑office services to asset managers, banks, and other institutional investors. Virtus helps its clients manage alternative investment portfolios—including CLO/CDOs, private equity, hedge funds, and other alternative assets.
What You Will Be Doing- Monitor and manage large volumes of loan closings; reconcile pending trades against client trade tickets/blotters, update data, and coordinate trade closings among counter parties, agents, and other groups, including pricing formulation.
- Build deal templates and user profiles, and onboard clients.
- Receive and review par and distressed trade documentation, resolve trade issues, and raise escalations when necessary.
- Review funding memos for discrepancies prior to settlement and update fee calculation spreadsheets.
- Prepare loan settlement or special client request reports.
- Work independently on complex projects and may coach or mentor junior associates.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
- Typically, 4 or more years of experience in accounting or finance with knowledge of securities, par, and trade fee calculations.
- Exposure to high‑volume transaction processing and reconciliations.
- Ability to interpret credit agreements and direct experience with transfer documentation (purchase‑price letters, netting letters, funding memos, participation agreements, consent and elevation agreements, termination agreements, transfer certificates).
- High proficiency in Excel and advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Wide latitude for independent judgment.
- Experience with daily loan transactions and loan‑tracking systems.
- Exposure to both TSI and Clear Par systems.

Pay range for this full‑time position is $21.88 – $35.66 per hour, reflecting the minimum and maximum target for new hires based on role, level, and location. Actual starting pay depends on additional factors such as skills, experience, and education.
