• Performs day‑to‑day general ledger accounting for multiple venues including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Provides financial support for event booking decisions
• Provides support with the preparation and review of the month‑end accounting close process
• Generates departmental and event income/expense reports
• Analyzes event‑level profitability, including ticket sales, concessions, staffing and other revenue/expense streams
• Supports financial audit and internal control procedures
• Assists in monthly, quarterly, and year‑end financial reports, prepares variance analysis
• Develops dashboards and performance reports for senior management
• Assists with event settlements
• Files monthly sales tax
• Other duties as assigned

• Thorough understanding of accounting principles and ability to handle all aspects of the accounting cycle
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy rate is a must
• Strong customer service and able to interact in a professional manner with various functions and levels within the organization
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision and preserve confidentiality of all data
• Must be able to communicate with technical and non‑technical users
• Must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment and multi‑task
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in public accounting and/or finance
• Experience with Sage or similar accounting software (preferred)
• Experience with in the venue management industry (preferred)

• Must have advanced PC skills (MS Outlook, Excel, Word)
