Job Summary The Sr. Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for detailed review, design, development, and implementation of financial and accounting systems—including manual workflows and computerized applications. This role ensures accurate system documentation, standardized procedures, and clear user instructions, while collaborating closely with finance professionals to support organizational goals. The analyst independently analyses and resolves routine issues and seeks guidance on complex problems, contributing to the efficiency, accuracy, and integrity of the organization’s financial systems.
Responsibilities- Review, design, develop, and implement financial and accounting systems, ensuring accurate documentation and user instructions.
- Collaborate with finance professionals to maintain reliable and goal‑aligned system performance.
- Analyze and resolve routine issues independently; seek guidance on complex problems.
- Perform contract modeling/quantitative analysis, managed‑care contract negotiation, and network provider relation activities.
- Advance Excel modeling, manage IT budgets, and handle accruals, capital/operating expenses, and MTD/YTD actual/budget spend reporting.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
Master’s Degree preferred. - 1–2 years of healthcare analysis experience, provider relations, or managed‑care contracting background.
- Experience with Workday, Service Now, Power BI, Apptio, or TBM preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
- Advanced Excel functions and formulas.
