Position: Event Staff
Shift: Varies (flexible availability required including weekends)
Job OverviewAs Event Staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for customers using parking facilities during events. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting customers with payment inquiries, managing challenging customer interactions, and facilitating the parking process. You'll engage with customers during entry and exit procedures, process parking fees, and document passes issued in the logbook.
Additionally, you will contribute to operational efficiency by preparing shift reports, sorting tickets, and managing shift bank deposits.
- Assisting customers who are unsure of how to pay for their parking
- Dealing with irate customers and solving issues within the policy and framework set out for the site (service is a priority)
- Assisting customers with the overall in/out process of parking
- Processing tickets and collecting parking fees (cash, POS, and validations); documenting passes created in the logbook (visitor passes, validations, and event tickets)
- Preparing shift reports and sorting tickets
- Preparing shift bank deposits
- Identifying and reporting parking equipment deficiencies and safety concerns to the direct supervisor
- Picking up litter and performing shoveling/salting as required
- Other duties as assigned
- Maintaining and operating equipment belonging to Reimagined or the Property Manager during the shift
- Collecting cash and front‑line revenues
- Controlling all lot revenues and maintaining accurate record‑keeping
- Interacting face‑to‑face with customers
- Ensuring the site is kept clean, neat, and free of obstacles per site requirements
- Controlling all tools and equipment required to perform duties
- Remaining organized and making suggestions for job performance improvements
- Consulting with supervisors or managers regarding relevant parking operation items
- Balancing revenue control sheets as mandated by management for both automated and non‑automated locations
- Logging all issues/events in the logbook and reporting them to the direct supervisor
- Resolving problems with customers, supervisors, or managers to achieve satisfactory resolutions
- Acting as a front‑line employee in a highly important capacity
- Wearing uniforms with company logo or crest in a neat and well‑groomed manner, representing the company’s appearance
- Prioritizing various tasks with supervisors or managers
- Tracking stock and supply levels as needed
- Strong command of the English language; friendly, even‑tempered, cooperative, able to work independently and communicate effectively
- Basic knowledge of parking equipment used at the site (pay stations, ticket dispensers, exit readers, gate machines)
- Basic knowledge of both desk/handheld POS parking equipment used at the site
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Basic technical education
- Customer Service experience required
- Parking related experience
