Software Quality Engineer; CSV

Overview

We have a current opportunity for a Software Quality Engineer - Vision Systems on a long term consulting basis. The position will be based in Jacksonville, FL on a hybrid basis. The role will support the validation of a complex vision inspection system that is being integrated across various manufacturing lines for a global life sciences organization based in JAX.

• Lead validation strategy and planning for the vision inspection system.
• Delegate responsibilities across automation, metrology, and other engineering teams for execution.
• Lead CSV strategy for PLCs, custom automation software, and vision systems.
• Own URS/FDS, traceability, validation plans/reports, and overall documentation quality.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality standards (ideally FDA 21 CFR Part 11/820, GAMP
  5).
• Provide independent quality oversight on PLC logic, automation design, and data flow (e.g., PLC → SAP/MES/DHR).
