Commercial Manager

Position houses an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Project Manager to strengthen financial performance across STV’s largest projects. The role is hybrid (three days per week in office) and can be stationed in any of STV’s major U.S. offices. Responsibilities

• Ensure all commercial processes and procedures are followed.
• Develop a culture of commercial awareness across Ihres Projekt.
• Collaborate with the Project Director and Commercial Director to establish a commercial strategy with clear objectives.
• Review and respond to contractor correspondence and meeting records.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities and manage them through completion to minimize liability.
• Submit change orders promptly in accordance with contractual obligations.
• Prepare and finalize sub‑consultant agreements, coordinating scope with engineering staff.
• Manage liabilities, payments and notices under sub‑consultant agreements.
• Coordinate claim management, ensuring timely responses.
• Provide accurate P‑L and Cost to Complete reports in alignment with STV procedures.
• Maintain thorough project records.
• Encourage staff to take ownership of project sections.
• Perform additional duties as reasonably required by the role.

• Minimum ten years’ experience in large‑scale commercial builder contracting, preferably in the AEC market.
• Strong financial background and knowledge of contractual law.
• Technical understanding of commercial, contract and risk management.
• Exposure to extensive engineering and construction projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to resolve problems independently under pressure.

• Degree in construction, engineering or a related discipline.
• Membership in a relevant professional body.
