Electrical Project Engineer

Base Compensation: $90,000 - $130,000

We are partnered with a leading packaging manufacturer, located in Jacksonville FL, that is seeking a dedicated professional to lead both internal projects and large-scale initiatives with budgets exceeding $5M.

• Lead multidisciplinary teams in the planning and execution of capital projects.
• Oversee initial design phases, team selection, and project scope development.
• Manage the selection, procurement, installation, and commissioning of equipment and systems.
• Develop and monitor project budgets and schedules.
• Implement and manage change plans.
• Coordinate and manage external consultants and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
• Uphold company standards by adhering to regulatory requirements.
• Oversee projects during scheduled maintenance outages.
• Provide technical assistance to maintenance and engineering staff.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
• Experience in the paper and pulp industry (preferred).
• Proficiency with Programmable Logic Controllers (e.g., Bailey Infi
  90, Delta
  
  V, Allen Bradley PLC5 and Control Logix), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and Power Distribution Systems.
