We are looking for an Industrial Application Refrigeration Engineer to join our client’s team. The Application Refrigeration Engineer will support the U.S. market by providing technical expertise, documentation management, customer training, and after‑sales support for refrigeration compressor products. This role requires strong engineering experience, customer‑facing skills, and the ability to collaborate with global R&D and technical teams to ensure high‑quality solutions for clients.
TheResponsibilities
- Create, review, and submit technical support documentation updates for the U.S. market.
- Review documentation and drawings in IP units to ensure accuracy and applicability.
- Work closely with R&D to continually review, update, and maintain selection tools and spare parts software.
- Provide technical support to customers for product selection, application guidance, and documentation research.
- Develop and implement enhancements or revisions to meet specific U.S. market needs and customer requirements.
- Support after‑sales teams with RMA's, troubleshooting, and failure analysis activities.
- Maintain and update RMA statistics for the parent company, documenting failure causes and trends.
- Provide technical support to sales and after‑sales teams to ensure accurate communication of product capabilities.
- Serve as a customer‑facing technical resource, helping build trust and ensuring smooth project execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration Engineering, or equivalent technical experience
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, thermodynamics, and heat transfer.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to analyze system performance and resolve faults under time‑critical conditions.
- Clear communication skills, customer‑orientation, and teamwork.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Minimum monthly traveling required within the U.S.
- Experience with ammonia (NH₃) or CO₂ industrial refrigeration systems is a plus.
