We are looking for an experienced Private Provider Project Coordinator.
Responsibilities- Inspection Coordination
- Schedule and assign inspections (e.g., structural, electrical, plumbing, gas) with private providers and county officials.
- Ensure inspections meet statutory timelines and project milestones.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain inspection logs, tracking affidavits, forms, time‑stamped photos, and as‑built documentation.
- Review inspection reports for accuracy and compliance, flagging discrepancies and recommending follow‑up.
- Compliance & Quality Control
- Verify each inspection is accompanied by signed affidavits and meets professional insurance requirements per Florida statutes (553.791).
- Audit inspection outcomes and quality per private provider guidelines.
- Stakeholder Coordination
- Serve as point‑of‑contact between private providers, building departments, contractors, and permitting staff.
- Facilitate communication of scheduling, inspection deficiencies, and plan review feedback.
- Administrative Support
- Process and file required forms (e.g., Notice to Building Official, DEP Form 4016 Part
2). - Monitor permit fee reductions associated with private provider involvement.
- Keep municipalities updated with provider credentials, insurance, and assignment data.

Education, experience, licensure, and skills
Experience
- Minimum 1‑2 years in inspection coordination, plan review, or certification within a regulated industry (construction, engineering, etc.).
Skills & Competencies
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficient in regulatory compliance, especially Florida building codes and private provider statutes.
- Excellent communication—oral and written—with stakeholders and agencies.
- Proficiency in inspection reporting tools, permitting software and office systems.
- Aptitude for scheduling, workflow management, and logistical coordination.
- Analytical mindset, capable of reviewing inspection data and identifying patterns or issues.
