Position Overview: This full-time role involves designing water and wastewater infrastructure from concept through permitting, plan and specification production, and construction contract administration. Familiarity with Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) regulations is required. Experience with water and wastewater treatment design, pump stations, and lift stations is preferred. Interaction with private and municipal clients is expected.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design water and wastewater systems, including collection, treatment, and distribution.
• Perform hydraulic calculations, modeling, and pump station design.
• Prepare technical reports, plans, specifications, and assist with permitting.
• Stay updated with industry innovations and incorporate new technologies.
• Collaborate with senior staff and mentor junior team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or related engineering field; advanced degrees are a plus.
• 5+ years of relevant project experience, with 5-10 years preferred.
• Proficiency with software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Water
  
  CAD, Sewer
  
  CAD, XPSWMM, ArcGIS, and Microsoft Office.
• Florida P.E. license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed.
