Rail Pros has an immediate need of a Senior Civil Project Manager to join our outstanding team of engineering professionals. We are looking for a senior civil project manager with well-rounded experience, knowledge, and understanding of civil engineering design to work independently and lead civil design tasks and civil projects. Valued civil engineering experience includes transit/transportation, hydrology and hydraulics, and proven experience developing PS&E for civil projects.

• Lead a major project team or several moderate sized project teams for the organization
• Oversee and analyze the financial performance of client accounts and engineering projects.
• Actively engage in project reviews to ensure quality and alignment with goals.

• Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
• Ability to manage budget, schedule, resources, client needs, and perform design work as necessary to meet project needs
• Willingness to travel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Experience in proposal writing
• Experience in business development and marketing business services
• Proficient with electronic communications including e-mail and text as well as standard office applications (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite)
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Skills in persuasion and negotiation of critical issues

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program
• 15 years (min.) experience in general civil engineering design including a mix of roadway, drainage, earthwork, H&H, developing construction plans, specifications and estimates
• Experience working with multiple disciplines within a project scope
• Experience in field engineering and/or Design Support During Construction
• Proficient is technical writing specifically specifications in multiple formats
• High level of proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Proficient in site grading, utility and drainage design
• Proficient in street improvement design and public works design
• Experience in site development
