VLS Senior Field Service Engineer

Responsible for research and/or product development, leading, managing, and/or performing work across one or more of the following engineering disciplines: electronics, electrical, mechanical, chemical, etc. Activities include but are not limited to, analyzing technology trends, designing new products/processes, modifying and improving existing products/processes, developing test procedures. May be involved in field-testing of products, processes, and/or systems.

Must be a IWS 3L certified MK 41 VLS Test Director or MK 41 VLS System Maintenance Technician. Shall have a complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, standards, technical principles and full knowledge of industry practices for the MK 41 VLS. Must have over 8 years of experience working in the field as an engineer supporting ship installations, alterations, repairs and maintenance.

BS in mechanical engineering. Team lead for contractors, and subcontractors during ship availability periods. Experience with MK 41 VLS launcher Top preservation.

Full‑Time Salary Range: $86,460 – $146,982

This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
