Electrical Engineer - Tyndall AFB

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer for operations at Tyndall AFB. This role will focus on large federal construction projects for the Department of Defense.

$ – $ (based on experience; discussed with manager during interview)

Panama City, FL (Tyndall AFB)

• Provide professional electrical engineering and construction management support for primary power generation and distribution infrastructure, commercial & industrial systems, and residential systems.
• Serve as organizational subject matter expert on standards and practices for electrical engineering designs and system components.
• Participate in design reviews and comment on contractor submittals.
• Provide quality assurance oversight, documentation, and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct on-site inspections of contractor’s work.
• Provide safety oversight, documentation, and direct corrective actions.
• Assist in interpreting and enforcing contractual provisions regarding contractor electrical requirements and deliverables.
• Document and report contractor progress toward contractual scopes of work, and recommend payment approvals.

• Current Professional Engineer license.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience on large complex multimillion-dollar federal construction projects;
  Department of Defense experience preferred.
• Experience with Resident Management System (RMS) preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Experience working at federal facilities including buildings, airfield facilities, and electrical power stations.
