Requirements- Must be a U.S. citizen and must pass a federal background review and drug screen.
- Provide professional electrical engineering and construction management support, serving as the subject matter expert on standards and practices for electrical engineering designs, system components, installations, and construction, including primary power generation and distribution infrastructure, commercial and industrial electrical systems, and residential electrical systems.
- Participate in design reviews and provide comments on contractor submittals on electrical designs and plans.
- Provide quality assurance oversight, document it, and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform on‑site inspections of contractor’s work.
- Provide safety oversight, document it, and direct corrective actions.
- Assist in interpreting and enforcing contractual provisions regarding contractor electrical requirements and deliverables.
- Document and provide reports regarding contractor progress toward accomplishing contractual scopes of work and recommend authorization of progress payments.
- Current Professional Engineer license.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience as an electrical engineer on large complex multimillion‑dollar federal construction projects (Department of Defense preferred).
- Experience with Resident Management System (RMS) – preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Experience working at federal facilities, including buildings, airfield facilities, and electrical power stations.
