This role is ideal for a technically proficient leader who thrives on building strategic partnerships, delivering complex projects, and driving business growth.

The role may also include leadership of alternative delivery projects, including CMAR, Design-Build, and Progressive Design-Build. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of project delivery, including engineering and pre-construction, construction, commissioning, and closeout.

As a PM, you will

  • Lead multidisciplinary teams through the full project lifecycle, with a focus on conveyance systems (gravity sewers, force mains, large-diameter pipelines, pump stations, etc.).
  • Ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and budget targets while upholding Jacobs’ standards for health, safety, quality, and risk management.
  • Serves as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their challenges and goals, and positioning Jacobs as their consultant of choice.
  • Drive business development by identifying opportunities, leading proposals, and securing new contracts.
  • Contribute to the North Florida Market Action Plan, delivering innovative solutions and expanding our client base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver complex conveyance and infrastructure projects, ensuring technical excellence and client satisfaction.
  • Lead internal and external project coordination, including scope development, design oversight, permitting, and construction support.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular engagement and participation in industry events.
  • Oversee project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and achieving gross margin goals.
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and legal teams on pursuits, contracts, and strategic account planning.
  • Mentor junior staff and foster a culture of inclusion, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • In Design-Build or Progressive Design-Build opportunities, you will also be directly responsible for these responsibilities for the construction phase of the project while managing both self-perform and subcontracted work.
Here’s what you’ll need
  • B.S. or M.S. in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in project management and conveyance design for municipal water/wastewater infrastructure.
  • Experience in the construction and administration of water, wastewater, or conveyance infrastructure.
  • Experience in alternative delivery projects including CMAR, Design-Build, and Progressive Design-Build for water, wastewater, or conveyance infrastructure.
  • Florida PE license (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
  • Proven success in delivering large-scale conveyance projects and managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery tools, metrics, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client relationship skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to win work and grow client accounts.
