Join Moffatt & Nichol’s Jacksonville, FL office as a Senior Electrical Engineer. Lead the design and execution of power distribution, lighting, grounding, and communications systems on large waterfront infrastructure projects spanning ports, DOD, and transportation sectors.

• Develop detailed electrical designs and one-line diagrams for medium/low voltage power distribution systems.
• Design and coordinate switch gear, switchboards, and lighting systems, including lightning protection and grounding.
• Perform selective coordination, arc flash studies, and engineering calculations.
• Prepare large contract documents, cost estimates, and submittals.
• Conduct construction observations and review electrical work on all project phases.
• Assist with company‑wide quality assurance, quality control, and NAVFAC or other DOD project processes.
• Support business development efforts and grow the local electrical engineering design client base.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer license (required).
• 10–15 years of experience leading complex electrical design for power distribution projects (required).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP or Easy Power, AGI
  32, MS Office, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and technical report writing skills.
• Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) or eligibility to obtain (preferred).
• U.S. citizenship and successful NIST 800‑171 background check (required).
