UNF School of Music is seeking a 9‑month, non‑tenure‑earning Clinical Assistant Professor in Music Education. The position involves a 3/3 teaching load or equivalent, additional course coordination duties, and service within the music education degree program.
Responsibilities- Teach choral methods and elementary methods courses.
- Supervise internship and other courses within the music education degree program.
- Maintain an active research profile.
- Collaborate with state and local school systems.
- Serve as liaison between the School of Music and Silverfield College of Education and Human Services.
- Engage in recruitment and retention by participating in school of music auditions and maintaining an active presence in state and local K‑12 music education.
- Additional course coordination duties and service.

Preferred Qualifications / Skills- Significant college teaching experience.
- Research published in peer‑reviewed scholarly journals.
