About Haven Rise AcademyHaven Rise Academy is an adolescent outpatient mental health program where academic continuity and emotional well‑being go hand in hand. We are seeking a PRN Educator to support students as they navigate mental health treatment while staying engaged in their academic progress. This is an as‑needed, hourly role ideal for an educator who is passionate about working with adolescents, values teamwork, and wants to contribute to a positive, mission‑driven culture.

- Serve as the bridge between our clinic, clients’ schools, and their families.
- Implement lesson plans from public, private, or virtual school partners, adapting as needed to meet clients’ learning and emotional needs.
- Teach across multiple subjects and grade levels in small groups or one‑on‑one settings.
- Track and report client progress to schools, families, and the clinical team.
- Maintain an organized, resource‑rich learning environment that fosters focus and success.
- Advocate for each client’s educational needs within their treatment plan.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or Special Education required (Master’s preferred).
- Valid Florida teaching certificate (temporary eligibility considered).
- At least 2 years of teaching experience—middle or high school required.
- Experience with IEPs, 504 plans, and academic accommodations.
- Understanding of adolescent development and the impact of mental health on learning.
- Comfort teaching multiple subjects and grade levels with flexibility and creativity.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for engaging youth and families in care.
