Position: Immediate Floating Guest Educator Permanent Substitute

Overview

KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools is hiring full-time, salaried Floating Guest Educators to join our team. These educators step into classrooms to cover long-term vacancies or teachers on PTO. Floating Guest Educators take on the responsibilities of a classroom teacher, including leading lessons, managing classroom expectations, and fostering a positive academic environment. They collaborate with the school team to execute high-quality lesson plans and ensure smooth transitions.

Compensation

  • Starting salary for full-time Floating Guest Educator: $38,500

Responsibilities

The role involves covering long-term vacancies and providing classroom instruction in the absence of the regular teacher, leading lessons, maintaining classroom expectations, and fostering a positive learning environment. Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

  • 60 college credits or a completed AA degree
  • Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively with a team of teachers

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Clear path to obtaining a Florida Teaching Certificate
