KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools is hiring full-time, salaried Floating Guest Educators to join our team. These educators step into classrooms to cover long-term vacancies or teachers on PTO. Floating Guest Educators take on the responsibilities of a classroom teacher, including leading lessons, managing classroom expectations, and fostering a positive academic environment. They collaborate with the school team to execute high-quality lesson plans and ensure smooth transitions.
Compensationand Benefits
- Starting salary for full-time Floating Guest Educator: $38,500

The role involves covering long-term vacancies and providing classroom instruction in the absence of the regular teacher, leading lessons, maintaining classroom expectations, and fostering a positive learning environment. You will collaborate with school staff and implement high-quality lesson plans to support student learning.
QualificationsREQUIREMENTS
- 60 college credits or a completed AA degree
- Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively with a team of teachers

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Clear path to obtaining a Florida Teaching Certificate
- Experience working in an urban public school or charter school setting
