In the 2025‑2026 school year, the region will comprise four schools educating more than 3,000 students, kindergarten through twelfth grade in the North and West sides of Jacksonville, Florida.

K‑8 staff: 7:30am – 4:30pm; K‑8 students dismissal: 1:30pm on Wednesdays.
High school staff: 6:45am – 3:45pm; high school students dismissal: 12:30pm on Wednesdays.
Every Wednesday is a student early release day, allowing teachers to participate in professional development and content team meetings.

KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools seeks a High School Math Teacher (Geometry) for the 2025‑2026 school year. Teachers will be responsible for at least one subject area and for creating a positive classroom environment, implementing curriculum, assessing students, collaborating with their team, building relationships with families, and other duties as assigned. Full teacher responsibilities are outlined by the school leader.
Bold City High School is a vision of student voice and choice. We offer honors, AP for all, and career/technical education. We seek teachers aligned to our student voice choice philosophy and flexible to meet student interests.
Location:
McDuff campus at 1440 McDuff Avenue North.
Core content areas include science, history, ELA, and math. High school lead teachers may have a homeroom class and teach several classes in their subject area.
Compensation and BenefitsStarting salary for a first‑year lead teacher: $50,000.

Stipends may be available for certified New‑to‑KIPP instructional staff.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Relevant Florida Teaching Certification or Eligibility for Certification (Math 5‑9 or Math 6‑12).
- At least one complete year of teaching experience with a proven track record of high achievement.
- Commitment to inclusive, healthy, empowering community for students.
- Passing a background check, as required by law.
Preferred Qualifications
- Florida Reading Endorsement (or reading competency coursework in progress).
- ESOL Endorsement.
- Two or more years of secondary teaching experience with a proven track record of high achievement.
