Job DescriptionKIPP Jacksonville seeks a full‑time lunch/hall monitor at KIPP Bold City High School. The role runs weekdays from 6:45 am to 3:45 pm, monitoring hallways and the cafeteria to ensure student safety and smooth transitions.
Responsibilities- Ensure norms and expectations for the hallways and cafeteria are followed, using positive reinforcement and clear communication.
- Maintain the schedule for grade levels, overseeing transitions, monitoring time, and giving time warnings.
- Assist students through the serving line, hallways, and staircases as needed.
- Direct students to tables and classes, ensuring timely arrivals.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Promptness and reliability.
- Passing a background check, as required by Florida law.
- Ability to work with high school students and support a busy schedule.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with high school students.
Hourly rate: $13/hour.
Schedule:
6:45 am – 3:45 pm. Max 40 hours per week.
