A large hospital is seeking a Radiation Oncologist for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Central Florida between Tampa and Orlando.

This position offers a Monday Friday schedule from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., with flexibility based on patient volume, and no call or weekend requirements. The average caseload is 1012 patients per day, and hospital privileges are required. Providers will see new patients and consults, with OTVs on Mondays and 23 consults per day Tuesday Friday, plus possible follow-ups. The clinic uses Epic, Mosaiq, Eclipse, MIM, Brain Lab, Oncentra, Rad Calc, and Philips wide bore CT, with Trilogy and True Beam 4.1 systems (a new True Beam arriving in March, at which time clinic hours will be reduced).

Weekly tumor board meetings occur every Tuesday at 7 a.m., along with weekly chart rounds to review new patients.
