Anesthesiology- Clinical Assistant​/Associate​/Full Professor

Overview

The Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville (UFCOM) is seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor position on the non-tenure-accruing track. We are particularly interested in recruiting anesthesiologists with a strong background in general anesthesia to support a broad range of clinical services across the health system. Candidates with additional subspecialty training are also welcome to apply.

• Provide clinical anesthesia services on a broad range of cases to support the health system.
• Participate in academic activities, including resident education, scholarly activity, or clinical research, in alignment with the selected academic rank.

• MD/DO degree and possess or be eligible for a Florida Medical License.
• Board certification or eligibility as BE/BC is preferred.
• Academic rank (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) will be determined by qualifications and experience.
• Strong foundation in general anesthesia; additional training in Pediatric Anesthesia or Critical Care Medicine is encouraged.

Expected salary is negotiable base on experience and academic appointment. This requisition is open until filled.
