FACILITY INFORMATION

• No. of Beds in Department: 6 LDRP rooms and 12 postpartum rooms

• Trauma Level: Adult Level II IV

Dedicated labor and delivery and surgical suites

• Specialty Backup Available: CNM hospitalists and OB/GYN team coverage

• Support Staff Available: LCSWs, lactation consultants, educators, anesthesia, and NICU staff

• Reason for Coverage:
Supplemental locum coverage

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses:
Active Florida medical license or eligibility via IMLC

• Board:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology

• DEA:
Active DEA required

Certifications:

As required for OB/GYN hospital privileges

Experience:

Minimum one year of experience preferred

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide 24-hour in-house obstetric and gynecologic coverage

• Manage labor and delivery including surgical interventions

• Collaborate with CNMs and multidisciplinary care teams

• Support patient-centered care and shared decision-making

• Document all patient care accurately and timely
