Retina Associates P.A is a well-established, physician-owned ophthalmology practice known for delivering high-quality, personalized care to our community. With a loyal referral network and a strong patient base, we provide specialist medical and surgical retina care. We are now seeking a fellowship-trained Vitreoretinal Surgeon to join our growing team.
Position SummaryWe are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Vitreoretinal Surgeon to provide both surgical and medical retina services. The ideal candidate is a team-oriented professional with excellent clinical and surgical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and manage medical and surgical retinal conditions (e.g., retinal detachments, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, etc.)
- Perform a full range of vitreoretinal surgeries in a state-of-the-art surgical facility
- Participate in the ongoing development of the retina service line
- Build and maintain strong referral relationships
- Contribute to practice growth and support a culture of clinical excellence
- Optional involvement in clinical trials and academic collaborations
- Non PE with Partnership opportunity. Modern clinic with advanced diagnostic and surgical equipment (OCT, FA, laser, EMR, etc.)
- High volume of established medical and surgical retina patients

- MD or DO degree with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Ophthalmology
- Fellowship training in Vitreoretinal Surgery from an accredited program
- Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in Florida
- Strong surgical skills and compassionate bedside manner
