Job Description
GAI's Community Solutions Group is seeking an experienced Landscape Architect with ~15 years of experience in its Jacksonville office responsible for planning and designing various types of community facilities and places. Our Landscape Architecture team collaborates with all aspects of our Community Solutions Group service group as well as other departments at GAI Consultants. Our practice works with public, private, and institutional clients to assist with a remarkably diverse array of project types.
This position is eligible for our flexible hybrid work schedules and a sign‑on bonus.

Responsibilities- Participating in the design leadership and production of conceptual design and construction documents for Landscape Architectural projects.
- Leading in the management of client communication, project staffing and project coordination.
- Producing project graphics in the plan, section, and 3‑D / Perspective views.
- Conducting site design, inventory, and analysis.
- Participating in teams and project meetings.
- Conducting bidding support, RFI's, and Construction Phase Services.
- Collaborating with our team across a broad range of project types.
- Some travel is required, mostly driving within the State of Florida (up to 15%).
Qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited University program, Licensure in the State of Florida, and demonstrated experience with free‑hand sketches, digital rendering; master site planning and detailed site design;
AutoCAD;
Land F/X, Adobe Creative Suite;
Sketch Up, Lumion;
Landscape Construction Design; and strong written and communication skills. FDOT experience is a plus but not required.
