Responsibilities- Install and test equipment/systems according to the defined planning, timelines, operating processes, and specifications.
- Perform system troubleshooting and report improvements to the Research and Development Team.
- Maintain equipment/systems according to the maintenance schedule, and repair equipment/systems while taking all necessary actions to resolve problems.
- Assist with the creation of training material and delivery of training to other colleagues.
- Document and report interventions and actions undertaken with high levels of detail and accuracy.
- Support the Remote Helpdesk shifts consisting of troubleshooting and dedicated support to our installed base.
- Participate in multidisciplinary projects to improve processes, products, and emphasize best practice sharing.
- Bachelor or Master of Science (or equivalent) in physics, electronics, mechanics, or systems engineering.
- Experience with particle accelerator technology highly desired.
- Excellent oral and written skills in English.
- Customer service oriented.
- A team player with strong interpersonal skills that can give and receive feedback in a positive and constructive way.
- Driven, proactive, and hands-on.
- Uphold all health and safety policies and practices.
- Focused on delivering on deadlines while ensuring the highest quality standards as required by policies and regulations.
- Willing to travel approximately 50% of the time, with more travel foreseen during training (+/- 6 months).
- Flexible to work morning, afternoon, or night shifts and weekends.
- Capable of handling pressure in stressful situations.
- Capable of adapting to different cultures and various business groups.
- Salary:
Approx. $82,100 – $107,800 (based on experience, location, and education). - Variable Pay:
