Salary

$18.00 - $22.15 per hour based on experience

What work will you perform?

In this role, you will serve as a critical member of the team responsible for administering Landstar's Drug and Alcohol Testing Program in full compliance with DOT regulations. This position requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to confidently manage potentially escalated and time-sensitive situations. This position regularly communicates with drivers, agents, and internal departments combining regulatory compliance, customer service, and administrative oversight.

Your experience with strong judgment, professional composure, and consistent follow-through are essential to ensuring an accurate, confidential, and compliant testing process.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls and provide quality customer service
  • Adhere to all policies regarding confidentiality
  • Process and audit drug and alcohol testing results and related paperwork
  • Work with various third-party contractors
  • Run and distribute quarterly random notification lists to various departments
  • Train representatives throughout the company
  • Process third party invoices
  • Create and distribute weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Minimum Experience and Education
  • High school diploma or GED
  • One year of customer support experience in an administrative environment
Preferred Experience and Education
  • One year of experience with DOT rules and regulations
  • One year of inbound and outbound call center experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Outstanding internal and external customer service experience
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision
  • Conflict resolution
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong communication skills in all modes; ability to multitask in multiple electronic systems/platforms
  • Ability to follow oral and written instruction
  • Ability to understand and interpret federal regulations; retain and relay information
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
