Medical Customer Service Representative

This role is available through Vaco by Highspring. Actual pay will be based on your skills and experience—talk with your recruiter to learn more.

$17.00/hr – $17.00/hr

Job Title: Medical Customer Service Representative

Job Summary: You will provide support to patients, doctors, and medical facilities by handling inquiries, processing orders, resolving billing and payment issues, and ensuring exceptional service.

Responsibilities
  • Provide customer support via phone, email, or instant message for inbound and outbound inquiries
  • Troubleshoot customer issues, identify root causes, and use available resources to resolve problems
  • Follow escalation protocols for unresolved issues and ensure proper follow-up
  • Track and document support requests while maintaining accurate records
  • Update and maintain accurate customer information
  • Meet performance standards, including quality, schedule adherence, and average handle time
  • May provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced team members
Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Salary: $35,360 annually ($17 per hour) + quarterly and annual performance bonuses
