Jones Technical Institute (J-Tech) is a non-profit trade school located in Jacksonville, FL, seeking professionals for our Admissions Department, specifically in the Guest Service Center. This role involves assisting prospective students by scheduling interviews with our Admissions team and playing a key part in growing the school's population.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure prompt communication via phone or text with inquiries received through phone or internet.
  • Follow up with prospective students using tools like calls, texts, reminder cards, and emails until they are interviewed.
  • Learn and proficiently use the Verity client management software to record accurate data for various departments.
  • Achieve individual goals for appointment setting, interviews, and referrals as established monthly and quarterly.
  • Collaborate with the team to meet daily, monthly, and campaign goals.
  • Initiate referral interviews to ensure success.
  • Maintain effective communication with the admissions and management teams.
  • Complete daily and weekly performance reports.
  • Participate in product knowledge meetings and ongoing training sessions.
  • Represent the college at events like orientations, open houses, and marketing activities.

    • Associate's Degree preferred; relevant experience considered.
    • Experience in call centers, customer service, or appointment setting preferred.
    • Sales experience is a plus.

    Work Environment/Physical Demands:
