We are currently seeking a Regional Scheduler in Jacksonville, FL or Orlando, FL to join our family. This position will be over scheudling for all of our Florida offices and our Dallas office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Collaborate with Preconstruction group/project teams to develop schedules through each design phase.
- Possess strong communication skills.
- Assist project teams with documenting scheduled delays.
- Possess a strong background of construction experience/knowledge (on the jobsite experience preferred).
- Visit or meet with job sites weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly to review schedule updates with project team.
- Knowledge of all major types of construction market sectors (Multifamily, highrise, healthcare, higher education, K‑12, senior living, office buildings, etc.).
- Extensive experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project (MP) and ability to troubleshoot user issues. Experience with training new P6 and MP users (beginning to advanced training). Run P6 and MP schedule reports and analyze data.
- Partner with project teams to develop detailed construction schedules, understanding that the project team maintains ultimate control of the schedule.
- Experience with all phases of a project’s lifecycle (proposal, preconstruction, estimating, permitting, procurement, construction, closeout, as‑built schedules, etc.)
- Perform project schedule quality control—baseline comparison, logic, durations, changes, etc.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with project teams (integrity, honesty, and trust) and tailor approach to meet individual needs.
- Ability to recognize and analyze risk affecting costs, profit, schedule, safety, etc.
- Develop schedule training modules and train employees on scheduling.
- Communicate with (or) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g., customers, suppliers, employees).
- Maintain relationship to ensure needs are met and problems/conflicts are resolved.
- Communicate and reinforce the Company vision, mission, and values.
- Assume other responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university.
- 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
