What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and grow a portfolio of construction and industrial accounts
- Build strong relationships with general contractors, developers, and project managers
- Proactively identify new business opportunities across active and upcoming job sites
- Provide customized waste, recycling, and hauling solutions that meet project needs
- Serve as the go-to problem solver—responding quickly and keeping projects on track
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Track sales activity, forecasts, and opportunities using CRM tools
- Represent GFL with professionalism, grit, and a solutions-first mindset
- Proven experience in construction sales, account management, or related B2B roles
- Strong understanding of construction environments and job-site dynamics
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self‑motivated, competitive, and comfortable working independently
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities at once
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally to job sites
- Competitive base salary + uncapped commission potential
