The Account Manager role at Hydrolec is designed for a high‑potential professional who wants to build a long‑term career in B2B manufacturing. This role plays a critical part in Hydrolec’s go‑to‑market operations by:
- Managing inbound customer opportunities
- Owning a portfolio of smaller, “standard” customer accounts
- Supporting targeted outbound outreach efforts
This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing position where you will learn the business, build strong fundamentals, and earn increased responsibility over time. Success in this role requires accountability, independence, and an entrepreneurial mindset. You will work closely with internal teams and must be a strong team player who enjoys a fast‑moving, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities- Manage a defined set of standard customer accounts, including quotes, follow‑ups, coordination, and issue resolution.
- Serve as a dependable, professional point of contact for customers
- Drive incremental growth by understanding customer needs and identifying additional opportunities
- Respond promptly to inbound inquiries and requests. Gather initial requirements, qualify opportunities, and ensure appropriate routing or follow‑up
- Execute targeted outbound outreach programs to targeted customer lists.
- 5+ years of experience in customer service, account management, inside sales, or account coordination roles
- Direct experience interacting with customers via phone and email
- Strong organization and time management skills in a fast‑moving environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Coachable, dependable, and accountable
- Exposure to manufacturing, industrial products, or B2B environments
- Experience leading a sales, customer success, or account management team
- Experience in small/mid‑sized company or entrepreneurial environments
