The Quality Specialist 4 performs moderately complex and varied assignments. Most of the impact is related to quality of execution. Works with limited supervision and may service an expansive array of products and services. Demonstrates technical and administrative expertise, applying specialized functional area skills and basic knowledge of underlying professional and technical principles or standards. Technical procedures for this level are well defined, and the role applies research, information gathering, and analysis skills to factual information, making judgment based on practice and precedence.
Supports the automation execution needs of the bank, which includes the execution of automation processes and the build of expedited automation process requests with various levels of complexity, along with validation sampling of the processes to ensure functionality.
Responsibilities- Review documents for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with business guidelines and track discrepancies.
- Communicate procedural issues to management.
- Work under limited supervision and established procedures.
- Apply detailed knowledge of a wide range of specialized administrative and technical skills, ensuring accuracy in tasks performed.
- Investigate and resolve complex issues pertaining to the evaluation of life and waiver of premium claims to identify benefit eligibility.
- Correspond with regulatory agencies, law enforcement, and vendors when necessary.
- Escalate complex issues to higher levels.
- Support an expansive array of products and services.
- Demonstrate technical and administrative expertise.
- Apply specialized functional area skills and basic knowledge, including underlying professional and technical principles or standards.
- Assess risk appropriately when making business decisions, considering the firm’s reputation and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Escalate, manage, and report control issues with transparency.
- High attention to detail and quality in work.
- Proficient SharePoint and Excel knowledge as well as general PC skills.
- Effective interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.
- Independent thought and objectivity, with prior audit or quality control experience.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
