You will be the face of our brand, connecting with local businesses to showcase our workforce solutions and closing deals that drive community growth. You’ll play a pivotal role in expanding our market share by deeply understanding client challenges and delivering high-quality talent solutions.
Your typical day involves building genuine relationships with potential and current clients to understand their unique hiring needs. You will strategically manage the profitability of your territory through effective pricing and consultative sales techniques, working closely with our recruiting team to ensure we exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Connecting and Growing
:
Build and nurture long-term relationships with new and current clients to introduce Spherion’s specialized staffing solutions. - Driving Sales Success
:
Focus on exceeding sales targets and growing our footprint within the Jacksonville metropolitan area. - Collaborative Matching
:
Partner with our internal recruiting team to ensure a seamless bridge between client needs and top-tier talent. - Consultative Service
:
Act as a trusted advisor and key point of contact for clients, ensuring complete satisfaction and a "better place" experience. - Strategic Management
:
Effectively manage your client database and follow our proven sales process to achieve consistent, high-impact results.
- Staffing Industry Experience
:
Prior experience in a staffing or recruiting environment is highly preferred. - Scannable Success
:
Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume customer interactions and build instant rapport.
- Sales Acumen
:
At least 1 year of proven B2B or high-volume sales experience customer-facing role (e.g.,
retail management, hospitality, or service-based environment
) with a track record of exceeding performance metrics - Negotiation
:
Proven record in negotiating pricing and managing profitable business deals. - Activity-Driven
:
Experience using activity targets (calls, meetings, leads) to deliver measurable results. - Professional Presence
:
High credibility in client-facing positions and the ability to hold candid, professional conversations.
This is a full-time, in-office position located at our Spherion Jacksonville branch, serving Duval, Baker, Clay, and Nassau counties.
