* Job Description:

** Team Member Experience and Onboarding:
* Conducts new hire orientations to ensure smooth onboarding and understanding of company policies.
* Schedules 30/60/90 day check in for new hires.
* Creates and maintains badge access for all team members and third-party visitors.
* Ensures GOLD stamp program is to company standard.
* Ensures all legal compliance postings are posted and current.
* Maintains all DC communication boards.
* Executes the conversion process for temporary workers to BJ’s team members.
* Ensures all vending and food programs are executed to standard.
* Ensures all team member spaces are neat, clean, and organized to GOLD standard.
* Fields team member questions and directs them to the appropriate company resources.
* Assists in facilitating local team member engagement and programs.

Payroll and Record Keeping:
* Prepares and processes weekly payroll, ensuring all submissions are accurate and timely.
* Ensures daily payroll compliance with state and federal requirements.
* Liaison for Distribution Center (DC) and Club Support Center (CSC) payroll services team.
* Maintains accurate and up-to-date team member documentation, ensuring confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive information.
* Executes document retention practices per company guidelines including processing and scheduling third party storage pickup.

Additional Administrative Responsibilities:
* Prepares, orders, and tracks supplies via supply management systems.
* Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
* Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job.

Qualifications:

* 1-2 years of experience in human resources, preferably in supply chain.
* Strong communication skills and proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
* Familiarity with HR and payroll systems.
* Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
* Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and dust.
* Flexibility to work weekends, nights, holidays, and overtime as dictated by business needs.
* Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally and to sit for extended periods while using office equipment.
* Fluctuating temperatures within the perishable DC including freezing temperatures as low as
-20 degrees Fahrenheit.
