• Build and deepen relationships with small businesses (revenues

• Collaborate closely with assigned branches and Commercial Banker partners to grow, retain business member relationships and achieve lending and deposit growth through participation in team meetings, training, and outreach activities.
• Utilize a needs‑based, consultative approach to identify short- and long-term financial needs of small business owners.
• Lead small business growth activities, including identifying new opportunities with prospects and existing business members.
• Coordinate with underwriting and servicing departments to efficiently process and close loan requests, renewals, and other credit-related activities.
• Process XV small-ticket loans from application through closing, boarding, and documentation.
• Call on existing business members within assigned portfolio and branch network to ensure member needs are met and appropriate solutions are presented.
• Generate and pursue new business membership opportunities through outbound calling and community engagement.

• Refer larger or more complex business relationships to Commercial Banker partners.
• Coordinate business member retention activities with branches in response to competitor activity.
• Resolve business member issues and disputes using problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Present a professional, friendly, and helpful appearance in every interaction as a representative of Commercial Services.
• Deliver outstanding member service to meet sales and referral expectations.
• Maintain a strong understanding of VyStar’s credit standards, pricing, loan policies, and member service practices relevant to the role.
• Document business development activities, sales pipeline, and calendar reporting accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of VyStar’s business services products and services.
• Handle incoming referrals from branches, call centers, and other internal partners.
• Adhere tonað VyStar’s policies on attendance, scheduling, action items, and reporting.
• Meet or exceed member service and production goals.
• Perform other essential duties as assigned by Sales or Commercial Services leadership.
• Support risk management by identifying, assessing, and reporting risks within the domain.

• 5+ years of branch sales experience or equivalent financial services sales experience.
• 3–5 years working with small businesses in a retail sales or service role at a credit union, retail bank, or related organization.
• Basic understanding of small‑business credit, deposits, and related products.
• Strong grasp of business and personal financial statements and tax returns to assess creditworthiness and risk potential.
• Proven track record of developing new clients and business, including proactive prospecting, sourcing, and networking.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
• Aptitude to source and build new business relationships.
• Good understanding of all business credit facilities, including Commercial Real Estate, Business Lines of Credit, equipment/vehicle loans, and unsecured financing.
• Highly motivated, confident, detail‑oriented, and able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to work branch hours as applicable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
