Purchasing Specialist

Job Description

As a Purchasing Specialist, you’ll support our Preferred Partners by guiding them through contracts, providing training, and assisting with day-to-day purchasing needs. • Onboard new Preferred Partners by preparing contracts and guiding them through each step
• Keep contract documents organized, updated, and routed to the right teams
• Collect required waiver/lien releases
• Train partners on our processes and tools, including the Weekley Partner Hub

• Research and resolve variance issues with accuracy and urgency
• Create extra orders, back-charges, and returns as needed
• Assist partners with payment questions and job reassignments
• Place and follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery
• Provide information to support rebate submissions for our National Strategic Sourcing Team

• Partner with Construction Field Supervisors and internal teams to support the starts process
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports
• Track starts, communicate updates, and help manage changes throughout the process

• Prior experience or demonstrated interest in purchasing, construction, or homebuilding is preferred; training will be provided for strong candidates
• Strong organizational abilities with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
• Professional communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with team members and Preferred Partners
