Overview
As a General Automotive technician you will be called upon to service a broad range of vehicle repair issues and quickly identify the cause of performance problems.
Responsibilities- Inspect, diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems
- Remove and Reinstall Transmission systems
- Ability to accurately diagnose transmission problems, TCM, PCM, Solenoids, electrical issues
- Assist other technicians in performing technical activities
- Explain problems discovered during vehicle inspection to service writers and technicians
- Continuously learn new technical information, equipment, tools and repair techniques
- Professionally record findings so that repairs costs are accurately estimated
- Ability to perform misfire, evap, brakes, etc.

- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience working as a General Automotive/R&R Technician
- Hold a valid driver’s license
- Inspection and Emissions license
- Own professional grade tools to service any general repair
- Be proficient with schematics and flowcharts
- Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment
- A/C Refrigerant handling certification preferred
