Automotive Business Consultant – Accounting Specialist

The Reynolds and Reynolds Company is seeking an experienced automotive professional for a high‑travel consulting role. The position requires frequent overnight stays (up to five nights per week) and extensive travel.

As an Automotive Business Consultant, your primary focus is to establish professional relationships with dealer customers and help their businesses become more efficient, effective, and profitable. You will work with dealership personnel to identify trouble areas, apply proven consulting programs, and provide ongoing fee‑for‑service support and problem resolution. Successful engagements will build trust and drive consulting services sales.

• High School Diploma or equivalent;
  Bachelor’s preferred but not required.
• 5+ years automotive dealership experience (Office Manager, controller, effective AP/AR Accounting Representative).
• Willingness to travel extensively with overnight stays up to 5 nights per week.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with fewer than two moving violations in the last three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years.
• Reliable home internet with sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing.
• Experience with Reynolds and Reynolds accounting software is highly preferred.
