Position Overview
The Traffic-Executive Assistant will be responsible for entering precise traffic instructions/materials as well as maintaining daily log placements to maximize inventory and revenue within the Wide Orbit Traffic system. They will also be responsible for the accuracy of the administrative duties outlined in this description. Candidates must have solid organizational skills and demonstrated ability to use good judgment, be able to multi-task, and switch seamlessly between competing priorities.
Must be able to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment. Requires high-level attention to detail and excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment and collaborate with multiple departments to achieve business objectives.
- Generate daily “missing material instruction” report for multiple days.
- Follow up on missing materials and instructions with agencies, clients, and/or sales reps.
- Implement accurate traffic instructions and spots.
- Maximize inventory and revenue by preparing and maintaining daily logs through detailed log placement and front loading.
- Adapt and adopt all standardization procedures and other initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively with others (sales, creative, client contacts, and agencies).
- Complete other Traffic and/or Continuity related duties as may be assigned, including back-up of other traffic personnel as needed.
- Support the Vice President/General Manager; demonstrate a high level of integrity, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Handle sensitive and confidential business matters.
- Maintain responsiveness, organization, attention to detail, and the independent judgment required to plan, prioritize, and organize in a fast-paced, changing environment. The ideal candidate views themselves as an extension of the executives and departments they support and as an extension of the leadership team’s brand.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Wide Orbit experience (at least 1 year)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and MS Teams
- Ability to produce accurate and timely information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics
- Resourceful self-starter capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks at once
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with attention to detail
- Creative problem-solver
- Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communications, Media or related
- 3-5 years of broadcast traffic experience
