Position OverviewThe Office Assistant will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our administrative office. The ideal candidate will have a strong organizational skills and be highly reliable. Attention to detail, data entry proficiency, and multitasking abilities are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities Driver Recruitment- Call candidates and schedule interviews for management.
- Once hired, schedule drivers to complete paperwork and drug screen.
- Point of contact to answer questions during hiring process.
- Ensure drivers maintain their annual competencies and compliance items in accordance to our client requirements.
- Maintain and post driver scores weekly.
- Administer training modules.
- Manage scheduling of transportation services for clients.
- Answer calls and provide ETAs, quotes and responses to general inquires.
- Address scheduling conflicts and adjust as necessary to meet client needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the company database.
- Enter client information, trip details, and billing data with precision.
- Generate reports as needed to support decision-making and business operations.
- Oversee general office needs, including supplies inventory and equipment maintenance.
- Provide administrative support to management and staff as needed.
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training administrative personnel.
- Proficiency as a driver as the role will have to cover shifts on occassion.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in office setting, preferably in a transportation related field.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
