Claims Assistant

Overview

Vaco is seeking a temporary Claims Assistant for a short, 4 week assignment.

Location:

Jacksonville, FL. Compensation: $21/hour.

• Monitoring the 626 mailbox, reviewing the submissions received there to ensure they meet statute, gathering documents requested, and following protocols for the return through the Records Division.
• Additionally, assisting in with other SIU mailboxes for ensuring questions and work received through these boxes are disseminated to the appropriate groups/persons.
• Possibly assisting in EUO setup, paying invoices received, maintaining spreadsheets associated with these tasks and submitting documents and assignments to our vendor partners.
• Additional tasks as needed, depending on work volume.

• MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Teams)

• Legal Assistant
• Office Administration/Record Keeping
• Project Coordination, management, audits
• Database Management
• Working in a fraud fighting environment

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
