Job Description OverviewThis position will manage the office and handle duties for upper management. We are looking for an individual who is efficient and comfortable being a member of a team. The ability to multi-task, while maintaining complex schedules and managing administrative support is essential in this position. The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful, a good problem solver and organized. Assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is key to success in this position.
Responsibilities- Manage all administrative tasks, ensuring that deadlines are met and work is completed correctly
- Assist in training staff members and new hires
- Implement and monitor programs as directed by management, and see the programs through to completion
- Generate memos, emails and reports when appropriate
- Manage third-party vendors and maintain office supplies by checking inventory and order items
- Assume responsibility for maintenance of office equipment, including computers, copy machines and fax machines
- Respond to questions and requests for information
- Answer incoming calls and assume other receptionist duties when needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; good organization skills; ability to manage multiple assignments that may be time sensitive
- Must present a positive and professional interface with both internal and external clients
- Minimum 5 years combined post-high school training and experience required
- Must be able to collaborate remotely with colleagues in other offices
- Must be willing to accept periodic out-of-town travel assignments
- Must be willing and able to work overtime to meet project demands and deadlines
