We’re looking for a Staff Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where ideas flow freely and collaboration fuels innovation. In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting the accounting department through various month-end and year-end close processes. These will include the preparation of journal entries, reconciliation of accounts, management of accounts payable and receivable activities, and participation in various ad‑hoc projects.

This role works closely with not only the accounting team, but the team’s leadership to ensure compliance with CSI company policies and accounting standards, while also maintaining accuracy in financial reporting.

This position is located onsite at our Jacksonville, Florida office

• Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts in a timely and accurate manner
• Participate in the month‑end closing process, prepare complex journal entries, and maintain various account reconciliations for the organization’s accounts
• Accurately reconcile, identify, and resolve third‑party supplier reports as well as bank statements and business transitions to ensure accurate cash balances.
• Design, implement, and manage both project and process improvements related to cash management, treasury workstation, and accounting initiatives.
• Participate in the preparation of tax returns to ensure accurate compliance with tax regulation and maintaining the appropriate documentation
• Research variances in period‑over‑period revenue variances, cost of sales, and expense and provide explanations for the transactions
• Provide necessary documentation and transaction explanations during internal and external audits
• Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of internal controls to safeguard assets, ensuring the accuracy of financial data, and preventing fraud.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance OR a CPA Certification
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial processes, methodologies, and concepts, and knowledge of GAAP.
• Proven background analyzing complex financial data, identifying patterns, and deriving meaningful financial analysis and insights.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including data entry, formatting, spreadsheet organization, formulas and functions
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast‑paced environment, meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy while handling a large volume of financial documentation.
