Tax Manager

We have an opportunity for a Tax Manager to join our team. The Tax Team provides tax planning and compliance services to businesses, individuals, trusts and estates, and foundations. Our team of tax professionals has proven expertise in these areas, as well as in multi-state income and sales tax matters.

What to expect:

As a Tax Manager, you will play an integral role in the preparation and completion of a wide range of complex tax engagements. You will have supervisory and review responsibilities of staff and senior accountants. You will play a key role in ensuring client satisfaction by providing quality, timely and responsive services and work products. You will be responsible for advising clients on the tax implications of their business decisions, and identifying different methods of complying with tax regulations while acting as the primary client contact for complex tax issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or Masters in Accounting with a minimum of five years of tax experience in public accounting
• Licensed CPA
• Knowledge of Partnerships, S-Corporations, C-Corporations, LLCs, and Estates/Trusts
• Experience with simultaneously managing multiple projects and engagement teams for various clients
• Technically strong with a positive attitude
• Achieve firm standards of productivity and realization
• Ability to use professional judgement and independent thinking
• Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and in teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience with Pro Systems fx Engagement is a plus
• Quick Books experience
