The Accounting Coordinator supports day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions by ensuring invoices, payments, and financial records are accurate, complete, and processed in a timely manner. This role works closely with the Finance team and internal partners to support cash flow, maintain data integrity, and assist with month-end activities. Key Responsibilities
  • Process Accounts Payable invoices, including data entry, coding, verification, and approvals
  • Support Accounts Receivable activities, including invoicing, payment posting, and account tracking
  • Review AP and AR transactions for accuracy and compliance with company policies
  • Communicate with vendors and internal teams regarding invoice status, discrepancies, and payment questions
  • Assist with payment processing, vendor setup, and W-9 documentation
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical records to support audits and reporting
  • Support month-end close by assisting with reconciliations and researching discrepancies
  • Enter and maintain accurate financial documentation within internal systems
  • Identify errors or missing information and follow up for resolution
  • Support additional accounting and administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications
  • 0–2 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, accounting, or administrative support
  • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred (not required)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Comfortable with data entry and learning new systems
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
Preferred (Not Required)
  • Prior exposure to AP/AR processes or invoicing
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, or a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with accounting or ERP systems
