Senior Accountant

Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a growing manufacturing organization. This role will function as a key hands‑on accounting partner, supporting day‑to‑day accounting operations while providing backup to an existing transactional accountant. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, technically sound, and comfortable operating in a developing, non‑structured accounting environment.

• Perform general accounting activities in accordance with US GAAP
• Support the month‑end close process, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
• Manage bank reconciliations, cash activity, and fixed asset accounting
• Assist with inventory accounting in a manufacturing environment
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with a strong transactional focus
• Process and review bank transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Provide backup coverage for transactional accounting responsibilities as needed
• Assist with process improvement initiatives and documentation as the accounting function continues to mature
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders in an in‑office, team‑oriented environment

• 2+ years accounting experience required
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred (but not required)
• Net Suite experience preferred (but not required)
• Solid understanding of core accounting principles and month‑end close processes
• Prior experience handling transactional accounting responsibilities (AP/AR)
• Self‑starter able to operate independently in an environment with limited structure
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to roll up sleeves
