Accountant, Financial Reporting, Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support complex accounting operations for a regulated client environment. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting month‑end close, reporting, and audits. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced setting.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Support full‑cycle month‑end and year‑end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Perform detailed account reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Assist with statutory, regulatory, and management reporting requirements
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to audit requests
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements
• Partner with finance, operations, and leadership to resolve accounting issues and improve processes
• Assist with implementation and optimization of accounting systems, ERPs, and reporting tools
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience supporting regulated or compliance‑driven environments preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems required
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill
