Our client is a large, well-established organization with a strong corporate finance structure. They are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a corporate accounting background to support financial reporting, compliance, and accounting operations in a complex business environment.

Position Summary

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month‑end and year‑end close processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position is ideal for someone who has worked in a structured corporate setting and is comfortable operating within a large organization.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Assist with internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and responding to audit requests
• Support internal controls and compliance initiatives, including SOX requirements
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including FP&A, tax, and operations
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within accounting functions
• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
• Exposure to SOX compliance and audit processes preferred
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines
